This Conair Flat Iron is awesome. It was my first and only flat iron and it works so well on my curly hair. I have very thick curly frizzy hair and when I use this flat iron my hair comes out looking smooth and shiny and straight!!! My hairstylist recommended OPTIONS by framesi WAY SMOOTH stop frizz cream and I use the frizz cream right before I straighten my hair and the combination is amazing. My hair is frizz free and straight! Once you straighten it could last for weeks! I've had it for years now and I have no problem with it and it works just like new. There are various settings you can choose from to accomodate different hair types and best of all it has an auto shut-off! I highly recommend this product! Review: BEST STRAIGHTENER EVER!

OMG! this item is probably the best thing you could ever get! i have super wavy and thick hair, and with one stroke, my hair was flat, shiny, and smooth! it heats up within a minute which is awesome in cause you're in a hurry...i'm just speechless...if you want a straightener, GET THIS Review: BURNT hair!!Beauty product: 1 Stars I've had several Conair flat irons over the years. They last about a year and eventually give out so I buy another. It's cheap so didn't bother me all that much. The last one I had however malfunctioned in a very bad way. The heating element got so hot is actually singed my hair right off! Since I've had several of these and know how my hair reacts to different settings this is certainly not user error where the setting was too high. How hot does it have to get to actually singe hair off?! Horrible!
After months of trying to recondition my poor hair that didn't have to be cut off it's worth the expense of a better quality iron to never have this happen again. Off to better brands which do not include anything made by Conair...

Don't waste your 50 bucks on those salon professional ceramic flat irons. this one is just as good for half the price. i only spent 22 bucks on this great item and it works like a dream. i've always had frizzy hair and the amazing ceramic heated iron really straightens in no time. Ceramic flat irons are the way to go. I highly recommend this to anyone. Review: Best 25 dollars I ever spent
