Review: These are "warm" rollers, not hot rollers.

This is the second set of Conair hot rollers that I've purchased in two years. The first set barely got warm enough to put a little wave in my hair, and my hair curls fairly easily. Finally giving up, I bought this set, hoping for a different result. They are equally as warm as the first and don't curl. Don't listen to the 5-star results. I did and these are getting returned.
What happened to the old days when hot rollers really were "hot"? Have they cheapened them so much to save money that they no longer work?
These are definitely compact and a nice size for travel, but DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I own a large bulky Remington hot curler set (which I liked accept for the "clip-on" marks left in my hair). I purchased the Conair curler set specifically for travel purposes and I have to say, the Remington set went back into its box and up in the closet. I use the Conair set for everyday use now and I love them. The Remington set left my hair kind of "fly awayish" from static or something. The Conair set, while giving great volume and curl, eliminates the static, giving a much healthier look and shine to my hair. And the final advantage, there are no clip marks left from use. Just got these the other day and used them for the first time. This is a great product to travel with and fits into a suitcase or carry one quite easily because it is small and compact yet does a great job. Would not recommend it for anyone with long hair but good for short or medium lenght hair. Also fit great with the Conair hair clips for hot rollers. Review: Travel hot rollers

I was very happy with the rapidity of the delivery and the product works just fine, but was disappointed that the rollers were so small. Apparently, my idea of jumbo and the manufacturer's idea are different. If you have short hair, this is ideal, but for longer hair, it makes the curl too tight, hence the need for JUMBO rollers. With this said, the product itself is fine and it is indeed small enough to through in your luggage without taking up heaps of room. If you are looking for rollers that will give hair below your shoulders a nice bounce, these rollers are to small to do the job. Review: Very satisfied with these rollers

They heat up quickly, are compact and manage to curl my thick medium length hair. I have bigger sets of hot rollers but I always go back to these.
