The hottest these got were warm, which didn't work well at all on my thick hair. My previous set was a Remington, which got much hotter. Review: grreat rollers bad clips

The rollers are perfect, but just go ahead and buy the additional big clips. The included clips don't hold the hair at all. That being said, once I got the othe clips, I LOVED this product! The rollers heat up in no time and are big enough to give lots of body.
