I've used these rollers for years with great results on my long to medium length hair, and just finally getting my second set. The originals are still working but the velvet is wearing thin and I was afraid they wouldn't still be available when I finally did need them. The one thing I don't like about them is the bulkiness of the clips when traveling. Review: Great rollers

These are the best. I have long very thick straight hair, and I truly enjoy the set. It is quick and easy. All I do is wait 2-5 minutes for the rollers to heat and have them in my hair between 5-15 depending on how much i want the curls to last me, and I am off to work. This is a great set of rollers. Perfect size for travel and small bathroom counter space. The only downside is having only 5 rollers. I would love to have 6 in this case. My hair is very long, layered and naturally straight. I need large rollers for body and to smooth the ends after blow drying. This set works great. Big relaxed curls and body. This product has great-sized rollers for long hair and average heat-up time (slower than advertised). But what happened to the ability to order extra rollers at Conair? You can order clips or clamps, but no extra rollers.
I have substituted a similar size and style roller from another unit, in order to get the number I need. Extra rollers take up less room to pack.
I have been using Conair products for 20 years, and as a Flight Attendant, I have had rollers and hair dryers with me on the go. The base electrical portion of the unit always outlasts the inadequate lids. I live with the lids until they crack, but they eventually fall off. Do you get the message Conair? Develop a hard plastic top or use something else.
I am glad to have the dual voltage, now just fix that top and let us order extra rollers.

I bought this item to use on a recent trip to China because of its size and the dual voltage....it performed wonderfully and I find myself using it quite often now that I am home. The only reason for the 4 star rating is the fact that the clips cannot be stored in with rollers and are somewhat fragile.....You would think that the designer of a travel hairsetter would have thought of this!
