I have advanced from pin curls, to rollers, and then to hot rollers over the ages. What I love about the Conair Xtreme Instant Heat Multisized Hot Rollers is their "new" way of holding the roller in place. It took a little over a week to get used to the metal clip, but I've noticed a definite new shine to my hair, I think it's because the clip presses down on my hair and smooths it out. I have fine hair that I have to have permed every 2 months (it is quite short). Without a perm, my hair just falls flat and won't hold a hair style. Also, with short hair I don't need the heated clip. I just use the clip unheated. I'm sure if my hair were longer, I would need the extra heat from the clip. I really love this product and am so glad I found it. Try it--I think you'll love it!

I've only used the rollers once so far but for someone that's completely inept and using stuff like this it was very easy to use, heated up quickly, and gave great results. Would definitely recommend this product and the product itself is small enough to be convenient for easy storage. Very happy Review: Great Rollers!

This is my first set of hot rollers, and overall I'm very pleased. The set is compact and attractive, and there are more than enough rollers included to set my thick, straight, just-past-shoulder length hair. The curl holds nicely even after just ten minutes, and the heated clips are a nice touch. I was unsure about using different sized rollers, but I did some research on how to use them and found that using the largest rollers on top, medium ones in the middle, and smallest on the bottom of my head as advised works great. You can also use just one or two sizes in batches, letting them reheat for a minute each time for curls that are all the same size.
A few notes:
The rollers don't heat as quickly as advertised. Even though the indicator dot turns white in about a minute, the rollers are still quite cool. I let them heat for 3-5 minutes, which isn't a problem for me. I can get dressed and make my tea while I wait for them to heat and I still have plenty of time in the morning.
The clips sometimes leave kinks in my hair, but I think with practice that can be avoided. I do wish there was some kind of clip storage, but I just kept the box it came in and keep them in there for now.
I would recommend this product to friends, it really can't be beat for the price.

I purchased these rollers so save time getting ready in the morning. They heat up very fast and I can have my long hair up in rollers in about 10mins. I can easily make breakfast, pack lunches, and get kids ready for school and the rollers stay in place. It take just a few minutes to remove them and all I need to do is run my fingers through my hair and I am good to go. The curls last all day and look even better the next day. I needed a new set of curlers because the set I had didn't have enough rollers for my thick hair. It wasn't until after I ordered these that I realized the ones I had already were also Conair! I am VERY happy with these curlers! They feel very familiar because of the other set I have...my only complaint is that I need more large ones than what is included in this set. However, now I'm heating up both sets, and FINALLY I can relax and set my hair the way I really WANT to!
I recommend these curlers, I think they're great. They heat up quickly, and well. You can control how hot they get with a heat setting (1-12). I would have to disagree with K. Johnson, too, regarding the 'flimsy plastic lid'. Reading her review nearly put me off buying these, but I find the lid is just fine. It's not thick plastic, but I don't see any need to be any thicker than it is....it does the job!
