I love these rollers, especially the variable heat setting. My hair was starting to break off at an alarming rate, but when I switched to these flocked curlers and used a lower heat, the situation improved enormously. Review: Good value

For the price, this is a great curler set. I have used it on my thick, long hair without any problems. I have also used it on my daughter's fine long hair too! The only problem I have had is the edges get a little too hot to touch if left on too long. I simply open the plastic cover on that side to cool them a bit.
The set features different size curlers, for different parts of the hair. It grasps nicely (even to fine hair) and is easy to roll. It's exactly what I anticipated and is working well.
For those with hard to hold hair, I recommend a spray gel beforehand to keep the curl lasting longer.

I like these rollers. I was wary because of the lid comments, so I wasn't sure if I would be pleased. I found the lid to be just fine. Just know that you probably will never travel with them; it's a big set of rollers! I like the fact that the lid stays affixed to the rollers. (One less thing to clutter my space.)
My complaint is, why don't these companies build in a slot for the clips? I have trashed perfectly adequate electric rollers in the past when I couldn't find their clips. This set comes with a small fabric envelope, made to hold the clips.
I guess the temperature gauge would be useful to some, but I just leave it on the 'high' setting.

I was really pleased with this product. I read some of the other reviews, so I was concerned the pins wouldn't hold my hair. I have absolutely no problem with these. I also like being able to set the heat factor. I have really thick fine hair that takes forever to blow dry and style, so to be able to just throw it up in curlers while I do my makeup is great. Since my hair is very heavy, I do use a styling product to get the curl to stay in. It also doesn't damage the hair the way the old products did. Review: Great Product

I had high expectations for this roller set as it was from Conair. I was not disppointed! This baby heats up really quick, and does the job. My hair always comes out smooth and bouncy not frizzy. I would recommend this product to anyone who has little time on their hands, but still wants a polished finish everyday. Keep up the good work Conair!
