I truly hope that Cover Girl will re-think it's decision about discontinuing this product. I've never found a mascara that compares!! Review: Miss this mascara so much!!!

I used this mascara from the time I was in high school on the swim team. We would practice in the morning, so I was always rushed for time. I could put this mascara on BEFORE swimming and it would still look great after practice!!! I didn't wear much makeup back then, but I always had wimpy lashes, so I needed this mascara. I used this mascara for the last 15 years. The price was great and the product was great! Since Cover Girl discontinued this, I have been on an everlasting search for anything comparable. I have tried probably 10-15 different types of mascara in the past 6 months or so. I've learned that my eyes are sensitive to many mascaras. Some have caused me to get little red bumps around my eyes. The ones that don't irritate my eyes, don't work well either. I tried the Remarkable Waterproof Mascara as well as the All in One from Cover Girl and they are nowhere near as good as this mascara was. I just wish Cover Girl would bring this mascara back!!! I mse the mistake AGAIN for ordering a product online fom some buyer with excellent seler ratings YEAH RIGHT. I bought and paid for Black Thats what was pictured and advertised. What I received was a Mudd brown. The product itself is fantastic and covergirl has pulled it off the market so thats the end of that era and the end of my buying from unknown sources $14.00 down the drain
Review: Waterproof Mascara is really waterproof!

I have used CG Marathon mascara for at least 2 decades now because of its waterproof ability. But this year I had not been able to find it in ANY store around me! I have been mortified trying other so-called "waterproof" mascaras to find that they smudge when I sweat. Buyer beware: If the mascara says it's waterproof, but also states it's removable with soap and water, it's NOT waterproof!
After going for 2 weeks without even wearing mascara, I searched online for my CG Marathon mascara, and found it here of all places!
I am SO happy to have my CG Marathon mascara in house once again! I can now wear mascara again!

I have not found a mascara that works as well as this one does - stays in place and does not smudge under your eyes - lasts all day! For some reason, the stores have quit stocking it.
