When 'all-day' lipcolors first came out, I tried the CoverGirl Outlast. It goes on smoothly, dries quickly, and is truly colorfast ALL DAY LONG. When I'd hear about another brand who claimed to offer a similar (or better) product, I'd try it but I always come back to this one. It's not a stain but is lightweight enough to closely resemble a stain. The clear gloss that comes with it is almost like petroleum jelly: it works fine as an emolient and provides shine. Although the gloss wears off as quickly as any lip gloss would, the color from the lipstick remains on my lips from morning to night. Even after brushing my teeth, drinking, and eating. While this may seem costly to someone used to paying for regualr lipstick, the convenience of once-a-day application is well worth the price.
