I've been using Stickey for over 15 years and haven't found anything else that works as well. This base coat is exactly what its name implies: sticky. The sticky texture helps bond nail polish to your nail. Because it is sticky, once you put it on you need to follow up with polish otherwise dirt will stick to it. I get the best results if I use one coat on the entire nail and then a second coat applied to just the tip making sure I get the very end of the nail. If you use good quality nail polish you can expect your manicure to last twice as long than if you don't use Stickey. Using common sense like wearing gloves when doing dishes or cleaning will also extend the life of your manicure. And for Pete's sake, if you're paying good money for a manicure by all means bring your bottle of Stickey to the nail salon!
