I have a set of this sable makeup brush set. They are very soft and feels good on face. Some people may think this size is very small but for me, I love it just because it's very petite yet very practical. It has all the essential brushes you ever need. Great for travel and home use. This is my favorite brush set to date. I was surprised; even though the set is by no means expensive, you get good quality for what you pay for. The brushes have good coverage, plus the bristles are soft so they don't irritate my sensitive skin. Oh, and I like the case, too. Review: Not worth the $24 price tag

While these brushes are soft, they are quite short and can lead to an accidental 'condensed application' of make-up. Most of the brushes in this kit will go unused, which is my own fault for buying a kit. Due to the compact size, they would be suitable for travel.
My advice would be to purchase your make-up brushes at a store, where you can visually inspect them and handle them to get the right kind for you.

The brushes are soft, but still shed (It leaves little hairs on my face. This is the same reason I was looking for new brushes. :( The size is great for traveling and comfortable to use. Until, I can find something better and reasonably priced, this is fine for now.
