Product reviews of DERMAdoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser 7 oz (210 ml) Review: DermaDr Saves the day Beauty product: 5 Stars
I never had problem skin until I left and went off to college, ever since then I have tried everything under the sun to clear up my skin. I've tried proactive but it just dried out my skin and left it irritated, I've also used different boutique spa brands as well as over the counter ones, and nothing seemed to really be working. On a whim I decided to try derma doctor and boy am I glad I did! the creamy cold-cream consistency of the facial wash is very gentle on my skin and has totally cleared up the pimples I had as well as help get rid of the persistent small rough bumps on my forehead. The cleanser does leave my skin feeling dry sometimes but it's nothing that my face moisturizer doesn't fix right away.
Review: Dr. Kunin rocks Beauty product: 5 Stars
Everyone wants the name of my dermatologist and aesthetician since I began using this cleanser. It is very easy to use and my skin is radiant. Dr. Kunin rocks!
Review: Got my sister off of her oral antibiotic!! Beauty product: 5 Stars
I recommended this product to my sister because she had tried EVERYTHING for her acne and nothing had worked. I recommended it to her due to the glycolic acid. She's also been on an oral antibiotic for her acne for about 5 years now. Knowing how dangerous being on an oral antibiotic for that long can be, I wanted to get her off of it but she couldn't find something that worked. But this product has done it! She said could feel a difference after the first couple times of using this product, and after a week the difference is even more significant! Blemishes are disappearing and scars are fading. Her skin is much clearer and she says it feels so much softer! She's still currently on Retin-A but we're going to try to get her off of that as well due to the success she's had with this product! We would absolutely recommend this product to anyone!
Review: Not worth it Beauty product: 1 Stars
I recieved a free sample of this cleanser from Sephora. Thank god it was free.
I've used a lot of different cleansers over the years, and this one is like no other.
When I put it on my fingers, I was impressed at how pleasantly smooth and creamy it looked. The pleasure ended the moment I put it on my face.
The smell almost made me gag. I have no idea what's in it, but it smelled like something dead and decomposing. I think one of the ingredients is sulfur. They have done nothing to try to disguise or cover it up.
The thing that hit me 2nd was stinging. Not "tingling", not light tolerable stinging that shows it's working, but actual pain. I squinted my eyes, rubbed my skin, and washed it the heck off. Is one of the ingredients stinging nettles?
I stuck with it and used it for 3 days until I couldn't stand it anymore. There is no change to my skin. At least not a magical change that would make it worth it. So, not worth it.
Review: SO worth it! Beauty product: 5 Stars
Go look at the reviews from the manufacturer's site...and then judge!
- personally, I also got the free sample - and yes, there is a tingling (not uncomfortable) - and yes, it smells 'odd' (not nearly as bad as what others would have you believe).
The results are AMAZING! I occasionally have outbreaks & felt what I knew would be a big, painful one on the side of my nose...if given the 2 days to erupt. I've never sucessfully stopped an outbreak - but 3 days of my free sample stopped it in its tracks - and no one other than me knew it was about to happen!
WOO HOO!!!
