Review: Not a miracle, but comes close.

We bought this for my boyfriend. I'm not so sure if the it's made his hair grow thicker, but one thing's for sure, it looks much healthier. You can tell that the hair is much softer and shinier, and it has its affect immediately. If anything, I hope that it prevents future hair loss. It's not a miracle in a bottle, but it comes close. He's tried my hair products in the past, but you can tell this product is tailored for men to use. I'm positive my boyfriend enjoys using this shampoo, and he's even complimented the design of the container. Very worthy product to purchase. Review: Not for Moderate Balding

The other reviews are correct when they say this shampoo will initially cause your hair to fall out more. The problem for me is it never caused it to grow back faster (or at all). I have tried a lot of hair regrowth products as someone with moderate balding at age 29 and none of them have worked thus far. I would say that anyone with moderate balding who is trying to at least slow down their hairloss should stay away from this product.
I can't really be too upset since I read what the risks were and still decided to give it a shot... I just want to make sure others don't make that same mistake.

This past June I purchased the shampoo in the pursuit of hairgrowth and assist with my thinning hairline. I used the product per the attached directions and did not notice any significant hairgrowth or slowing of my hair getting thinner. In fact I noticed that my hairline was getting thinner since I had been using the product for 6-8 weeks. I noticed better results with Nioxin System 1 Cleanser & Scalp Therapy. For the price you pay and for only 180 ml, including lack of results, I would not suggest purchasing this product. (If DS Laboratories would like to contact me regarding this review, please do). I tried this shampoo from a sample that was given to me by my hair stylist. After trying the sample I decided to purchase the 180 ml bottle of Revita Shampoo from Amazon (USA Vitamins), since it was a bit cheaper than at the Salon. I am using the shampoo to prevent potential hair loss due to stress and aging. I've noticed a significant difference in consistency of the shampoo in the sample package and the $27 bottle. The sample is much more concentrated; it has a gooey feel like typical shampoos and provides a satisfying, high foaming result when applied to your hair. However, the 180 ml bottle has a watery feel and definitely does not have the high foaming result when applied to hair; unless I apply triple the amount that I used from the sample. I will give it one more try and buy the shampoo at the salon. If the consistency of the Salon shampoo is gooey just like the sample then we are getting a sub par product that someone is diluting and selling cheaper to make a profit on it or DS Lab has no quality control. If the consistency is the same, watery, I'll have to find another hair loss preventing shampoo. Review: Not impressed

I have been using this product for about 1 month and I can say I haven't seen much improvement so far. The other problem is that you have to wash your hair twice when using this product. First 2 minutes and then 3-5 minutes. I feel that it takes forever.
Aditionally, I think the product is very expensive for what it does.
