Sodium lareth sulfate and sodium laryl sulfate, present in cheap shampoo's, are poisonous to hair, cells and quite alot of other things! One of them is actually used as a positive control in the Ames assay for one of the Salmonella thyphimurium strains! The other reason I switched to this is because the minoxidil product I was using caused very greasy hair, alot of dandruff and a build up of sebum on the scalp. This product thoroughly cleans the hair, makes it physically thicker and also increases the effectiveness of minoxidil. And as it contains substances which are good for the hair, it will certainly slow hair loss and maintain a high quality of your existing hair, kinda acting as preventative medicine, but realistically it will not grow your hair back without minoxidil! Beauty product: 4 Stars I have used this shampoo for over a year and I haven't seen any new hair growth, HOWEVER, this is a fantastic shampoo. I use it every day and sometimes twice a day and it does not dry my hair and scalp out nor does it make my hair limp. I have had a problem with dry scalp and scalp psoriasis up until I started using this shampoo. When I use it regularly, I don't get the dry scalp and psoriasis. It is a little costly but it is worth the price!

I've been using Revita shampoo for about three months now. I haven't noticed hair growth but I have noticed less hair falling out.
If nothing else this shampoo feels good and leaves your hair feeling clean - not oily or rough.

This shampoo is one of the best that I have used over the years. It makes your hair not too fluffy and not too flat. Clean, full and manageable.
