I was buying this bag to match a coffee mug I received as a present (the dogs destroyed the original bag...) and I was disappointed when I got it that the blue color isn't really blue. It's more of a sea foam bluish/green than the baby blue that it appears in the pictures. I guess that can't really be helped, but still. So far it appears sturdy and decently made but only time will tell.
I thought the handles and bottom were leather but they are 'pleather' (plastic vinyl) and may not stand up to time. The top is a drawstring closure with thin fabric and the inside is a thin metallic liner "insulation". I would not trust this lunch bag to keep anything cool or warm for any length of time. It's a little more fashionable that the plastic grocery store bag, but not much...
I would not buy it again.
