This product is great for curl definition. It's not overly moisturizing, so I like to use a leave-in conditioner before applying the serum. Works great when I scrunch it into wet hair and let it dry naturally. Review: It does what it says it does

This product does enhance curls though I have had better results leaving the hair to dry naturally. My hair curls do not look as defined and soft when I blow dry (using a diffuser), it could be my technique, not sure.
It is a good product overall and does not take a lot of it to get the results. I just purchased the shampoo and conditioner of the same brand, reviews coming soon.

I have very thick, curly hair, about shoulder length. If I apply just the right amount, this product works well, though it is very sticky as it dries. When I went back to my old routine of moisturizer and a touch of mousse, I preferred the result. I am concluding this may not be worth the price for my particular hair. I have thick, fine, wavy hair that curls pretty well with the right products. Many leave my hair stiff or they weigh it down. I stumbled across Davines Moisturizing Curl Enhancing Serum when traveling, and though I have several curl activating/enhancing products, I return to this consistently. It gives my hair just enough moisture to curl and stay soft, and the curl holds pretty well (even though I'm not sure this product is supposed to provide hold). I like my hair to have curl and some volume but to look natural, and I'm not willing to spend much time styling. I simply blow-dry and scrunch. If I'm going out in the evening and want a little more control, I'll spritz on just a little light hairspray, but otherwise I like the results I get with this product alone. Review: excellent product - good price!
