This design is very good for clipping toe nails. It has a large easy grip. The only problem is that the jaws don't open enough for nails that have a large curvature. Review: Works Great, but just as easy to break as to use

Does everything it claims to do, but make sure to take a shower before using or soften your nails first. If your nails are too hard the plastic parts will break. Just happened to me tonight. It is a fantastic item for people with wrist or joint problems. But if you don't have those problems, you are better off with a sturdier regular nail clipper. Review: great idea-poor design

This clipper is not designed for seniors with thicker toenails. It doesn't open wide enough to accomodate a thicker toenail.I sent it to my brother in Florida and he called to let me know he couldn't use it. It was very disappointing because he isn't well enough to deal with returning the item.
