Product reviews of Dermadoctor KP Duty Review: It works. Beauty product: 5 Stars
After 25+ years with KP on my skin, I was very skeptical. KP Duty simply works. My arms are so much smoother than they have ever been and the redness is almost gone entirely. I have been using the scrub three times a week (jar says to use it twice) and the lotion twice a day. I am confused as to why someone would think it is that expensive - $40.00/bottle is just the price of most high end lotions. I've spent far more with less or no results.
Review: Made my KP WORSE! Beauty product: 1 Stars
Don't waste your money. This product made the bumps on my arms even redder. I tried it for several weeks thinking it would eventually get better. The redness went away after I stopped using it and I'm back to square one.
Review: Makes redness worse Beauty product: 2 Stars
I purchased this and Aqua Glycolic at the same time for KP on my arms, which consists of multiple reddish bumps. I used Aqua Glycolic first. It did a decent job wearing down the bumps and a decent job reducing the redness. Nothing spectacular, but it helped. After I emptied the Aqua Glycolic, I tried KP Duty. Like Aqua Glycolic, it did an ok job wearing down the bumps, but it made the redness much worse, and it seemed to generate some mild acne (I am not acne-prone). I stopped using KP Duty after a few weeks, and the redness subsided. I think it was too harsh for me. After KP Duty, I tried AmLactin XL and Rea Lo 30 cream. AmLactin XL smelled like urine, and Rea Lo left a waxy residue, so I didn't use either for very long. Frankly, the best solution I've found for my KP is mild scrubbing in the shower followed by a very mild exfoliating lotion like Eucerin with AHA. That combination wears down the bumps and reduces redness more than Aqua Glycolic or KP Duty. I would imagine everyone responds to these treatments differently. Try a few different products and see what works.
Review: Too Expensive! Beauty product: 3 Stars
I've had KP my entire life. I've been able to bring it under control without totally curing it with this product, regular exfoliating and doses of fish oil and vitamin A from carrot juice. I like this product but it's way too expensive! Can't afford to use it all the time which is really what you need to do for long term results.
Review: good for dry skin, does not improve KP Beauty product: 2 Stars
I bought this product to help with KP on the back of my arms. Yes, it is very moisturizing, but IT DID NOTHING TO IMPROVE THE KP! I don't recommend it.
