I purchased the basic kit at a beauty store and just tried it out today. I like it. The designs come out nice and it is super easy to do. Yes, I do think it could be a bit less expensive, but it will be used enough times to get my money's worth. My 11 year old daughter was the first tester and her designs came out nice. I saw the other review about not being able to expand, but it comes with a dvd and a booklet that lists all of the expansion add-ons, including many other designs and polishes. I recommend trying it out for yourself. I think you'll like it.

The Nail Art Diva! Diva Basics SmartStart Nail Art Kit comes with a SmartStart Basic nail art polish holder to help you keep everything organized by holding up to ten Nail Art Diva!? nail art polishes (more colors are available separately). As you expand your collection of nail art designs, you can purchase the nail art polish holder expander(sold separately). The expander easily snaps to your basic nail art holder so you can increase your storage in the combined holder and expander from 10 nail art polishes and a top coat to 28 nail art polishes and top coat.
