When Dove shampoo was first released, I was amused by the commercials of cartoon characters with bad hair like
Wilma Flintstone and Velma from Scooby Doo using it, only to suddenly have beautiful hair.
I'm normally a Pantene user, and when they changed their entire line to aim at specific hair types, I didn't like it,
and I was angry that they messed with my favorite, so I looked for something else.
I have limp, flat hair, so I tried Dove Energize. Right away, it made my hair feel rough and brittle, and
adding the Energize conditioner didn't help.
Dove is not the bad hair cure-all that it's made out to be.
Thank God Pantene left their Classic Care shampoo alone. I went back to that, and I won't stray again. It's
the only thing that makes my hair feel good.
