Review: Don't buy if you don't live in the USA

Outside of the US, this company only ships express, but no one tells you that. Through Amazon I ordered $8.83 of Dr. Bonner product, plus books and CDs from elsewhere. While rest of my Amazon order arrived via standard mail, the Dr. Bonner items were shipped express and the shipping cost was over $36.00 (4x more than the cost of the product!!!!). Their response to my complaint was that all orders out of the US are shipped expedited. To add insult to injury, - my other items that were shipped standard, arrived at almost the same time. Needless to say, I didn't give these soaps out as the Christmas gift I had intended because I don't see this as a company I want to promote to others.
