I happen to come across DR. FEELGOOD SKIN & SCALP ANTISEPTIC SPRAY while browsing on Amazon for something to give my itchy scalp some relief. I think I'm starting to get a mild-moderate level of seborrheic dermatitis because I'll break out with these itchy bumps on my scalp, with occasional flakes, and it's driving me crazy.
I've tried Scalpicin Maximim Strength Formula, 1.5-Ounce Box (Pack of 2), Head & Shoulders Dandruff Shampoo, Refresh, 23.7 fl oz (700 ml) (Pack of 2), and Selsun Blue Medicated Dandruff Shampoo, Moisturizing, 11-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) and they've only provided temporary relief. The shampoos would feel great in the shower but afterward my scalp would start itching towards the end of the day.
Scalpicin was pretty good, but then it stopped working, and other products I've tried either didn't do anything or smelled horrendous or left my hair and scalp really greasy or all of the above!
DR. FEELGOOD SKIN & SCALP SPRAY is great! It's very light, non-greasy/oily, and it doesn't have a strong scent. It has a very light scent of cloves that disappears once the hair is dry and it's very easy to apply with the spray bottle.
I used it last night after showering and spritzed it on the itchy spots on my scalp and gently massaged it in. Within a minute or two, the cooling sensation from the peppermint worked its way throughout my head and gave a nice refreshing tingle and my itching subsided almost immediately. When I woke up in the morning one of the spots on my scalp that was really irritated, tender, itchy and had erupted with a pimple, wasn't as tender or itchy. I was amazed.
Perhaps it's the camphor that's in DR. FEELGOOD or a combination of ingredients, but whatever it is it's definitely calmed my scalp down. I will continue to use this product and will buy more when I run out.
If you've got an itchy scalp like me, either from dermatitis or eczema, I suggest giving DR. FEELGOOD SKIN & SCALP ANTISEPTIC a try. It doesn't smell bad like most leave-in treatments for scalp conditions and the cooling sensation will calm and refresh your scalp, so the itching will stop.
