Anyone who has ever shopped for a red lipstick knows how hard it is to find just the perfect shade of red.
Despite being frustrated with all the money wasted on past "perfect shades of red", I figured for $22 I'd give this a try. I am so glad I did because I now truly do have found my perfect shade of red.
I'm not positive about the color changing with each individual user, but I do know that it matched my coloring perfectly before a 2 week trip to Hawaii, and looks just as great now that I have a tan.
The formula goes on smoothly and stays moist. If I could improve on perfection, I would love this lipstick to have a stain in it so it could last through meals and drinks too.

Not only does DuWop's Private Red color-match to every wearer, it customizes itself perfectly to every complexion of each wearer. I've been from mid-winter pale through post-vacation tanned and it's never let me down.
This red is rich and elegant, leaving with no worries over feeling like a clown; there's not a hint of garish in this tube. While providing deep drama for an evening out, it remains classic enough to wear at the office.
Private Red has some pretty decent staying power. While it won't rival a lip stain or an all day lipstick, I've made it from morning throught the night with minimal touchups. It doesn't hold up through a meal very well, though - - fair warning. A nice bonus is that it doesn't seem to feather much. So for those of you like me - with a few years of wearing reds under your belt - it's a major win.
Definitely the best $20-range lipstick I've EVER bought!
Review: Was hoping for a great color...

I was really excited when I found out about this product. I love wearing lipstick and the thought of the "perfect" red for me (I have dark hair and an olive complexion)sounded great. I couldn't wait to try it! Unfortunately the color (on me) appears too bright...almost pink. I was hoping for more of a deep red. Oh well. I'll keep looking!
