Review: Minority Opinion -- I Love The Save-a-Blade

I've never bought anything through an informercial before but I was beguiled by the Save-a-Blade and decided to try it. For me, it works FABULOUSLY. I use the Mach 3 blade and I have used one blade a month since I bought it. That's 30 or so shaves per blade. It doesn't feel quite like a brand-new blade, more like one that I've used maybe once. I will save hundreds of dollars a year on this product. I am completely delighted with it and feel as if I'm winning against the razor-blade companies, who overcharge so badly for their product. Review: NO GO!!

I was really disappointed with this product. I tried everything to get it to sharpen my old blade, and it was just brutal. I wish I could get my money back or something. So I decided to try and save you the money. I love infomercials and that is where I found this POS. Don't buy it. Use a butter knife and you can sharpen your blade better. Ugh Review: Not bad even with only one honing strip.

This is the third "Sav a Blade" sharpener that I have owned. Each device has two honing strips within it. One of the strips in each device that I have owned has become detached. Although this reduces the efficiency of the sharpener it is still a good product, in my opinion. I have used one blade upwards to 25 days when I sharpen it after each shave. A hugh savings even though there is only one honing strip in place. Think what a true money saver it would be if the manufacturer could correct the problem of one honing strip becoming detached. Review: Not good at all

I suppose it is "sharpening" however it isn't even an it pulls the hair. I would not recommend buying this item. Review: Poor item. Don't be fooled

This item fits only a few sizes of razors. Most do not work. It was a waste of money, time and effort.
