I purchased this product after reading a number of books about natural health and assisting your body to remove toxins without chemicals. I don't know that I believe that this brush will stimulate circulation, prevent premature aging, or eliminate cellulite as I have seen claimed. However, using this brush does feel really good. In fact, if I don't it every day, now I miss it.

This brush is very stiff and you could exfoliate too much skin if you brushed too aggressively. I have been using a light hand with this brush since I began using it, and I have not had any difficulty with reddening of the skin. Using this brush just feels good. My skin seems to feel more alive for at least 4 hours after I have used it. I can tell that the brush is removing dead skin by the increased need to clean the bathroom shower.

I have found that it also feels nice to moisturize immediately upon finishing my shower. By doing this while my skin is still damp, the moisturizer seems to lock the water into my skin. My husband frequently comments how soft my skin is since purchasing this brush.

I use hand soap to clean this brush after ever use. I always hand this brush whether wet or dry to keep the bristles from being crushed.

My one complaint about this product is that the handle needs to be a little longer to reach the very middle inch or so of my back. This isn't a big problem since there is very little area that is missed. You could always do what I do and ask your significant other to assist you.

I would highly recommend this product to both men and women.
