Every woman loves a compact. Yes, we do. Every woman loves an eye shadow compact with lots of shades to mix and match and wear to coordinate with our ever evolving look. Yes, we do. How exciting to finally find one that makes eye shadow mixing so easy!

Each of these three new Evolution Of Color compacts has four graduated shades giving you unlimited options, options, options to enhance, define, and emphasize your eye. Four, count them, four wearable shades, ladies -- each of them beautiful and not a single random "yech, I'll never wear THAT color" in the bunch. Wear the shades individually or use a brush to blend and customize your own shade. With the very same compact you can easily go from casual weekend to everyday office to after office drinks to night on the town -- with merely a soft flick of the brush. That's why it's called Evolution of Color!

The pictures just don't do these eye shadow compacts justice. The eye colors all have the softest, softest shine which helps hide imperfections in the eye-area skin. Yes, ladies we all know that frosts make all but the most unwrinkled eye look crepey and mattes, while a better option than the frosts, can make the eye look tired. Bless Laura Mercier for striking just the right, and most forgiving balance between the two with a smooth, clingy, blendable, just-like-silk cashmere texture that enhances your eyes without drawing attention our past sun-worshipping indiscretion. Color Notes:
Plum Velvet: The plum compact is gorgeous set of subtle plum color and will really perk up a blue eye, make a green or hazel eye look greener, and make a brown eye look alluring -- all while being soft and subtle enough in it's `plum-ness' to avoid that 'just bruised' look. It's like wearing plums without wearing purple. This compact also offers the most contrast in shades from dark to light. The darkest shade is a soft burgundy that can be used as an eyeliner, smudged into the lash line with Laura's "smudge" brush, or can be applied with Laura's "pony tail" brush for a soft smokey look in the crease. The second darkest shade is a gray plum that makes an excellent lid or crease color. The second lightest color is a dark mauve which makes a fantastic lid color or can be used as a crease color on your more casual days. The lightest color is a soft pink that perfectly highlights the brow bone area or applied all over will really `open up' your eye. Who knew it could be so easy and so beautifully natural to wear plums!

Taupe velvet: The colors in the Taupe velvet compact are browns with just enough gray to subtly enhance a blue eye while helping to cancel out unwanted redness for all eye shades. The darkest shade makes a mocha colored liner or smokey eye smudge -- just watch your eye color pop! The second shade is a dark taupe with a touch of gray -- perfect to add depth in the crease. Banish that unwanted redness by swathing the third color, a lighter grey-taupe, on your lid. Finish everything up with the lightest shade, the color of khaki pants -- but oh so much more, as a highlight to the brow. Feeling more casual? Wear the lightest shade all over and the darkest one as a liner -- pretty and polished.

Brown Velvet: Four chocolatey shades await you in the Brown Velvet compact. Second only to the Plum Velvet in contrast the shades go from a chocolate brown to two different shades of medium brown and finishes with a redness reducing color of pale flesh as a highlight.
