Excellent product. Easy to apply, and during a warm/hot spell, it does NOT run into your eyes like so many other products. (Also, it contains the chemicals most recommended by the medical profession.) Review: Cotz is serious sun protection at its best!

I have been 9 degrees north of the equator in Guanacaste, Costa Rica for two weeks now. I use Cotz on my face and shoulders, reapplying each time I surf or head out for some serious sun. Cotz goes on easy and thin while still offering amazing protection. While I'm exposing myself to quite a bit of sun (I'm a surfer, I can't help it) Cotz helps me prevent not only burning, but redness and sun irritation as well. This is a wonderful formula with a slight tint so you don't get the white chalky look of some zinc based products. It's odorless too! Review: Cream of Life

This is the best stuff. It goes on smoothly, has no grease, is water resistant, and has a rating of SPF 58. What is not to like? I happen to have very sensitive skin, so for me this is perfect. It is made especially for people who hesitate to put goop on their skin and pay a price in burns. Review: Daily, year round protection? Give me a break! Dracula would not need this.

Our doctor told us when our second child was born... to put him in the sun for a bit, with no sunscreen! He needed the sun for vitamin D!
On the side of this box I am reading that I may get harmful rays through my window glass and need "Year round protection". Year round protection from the sun? Do these people think I am an idiot? It's comments like these that make me want to throw a product in the trash, no matter what it's benefits. The people that make this, the marketing people, the company executives, they all signed off on that mumbo jumbo. They want me to be scared into putting this on my body year round. I can only imagine the effects of putting Zinc and titanium lotion on my skin all year long.
If you have sensitive skin this is supposed to be good for you. Seriously though, if your skin is so sensitive that you will burn in the winter through window glass, get a hat, put on a shirt, pull down your blinds, and for gods sake be careful. I'm sure a bit of this will help too but the company should re-think the whole scare tactic approach.
So I used the stuff on myself and my son. It works fine. It goes on looking like makeup coverup. It has very little smell to speak of. Sunscreen keeps me from getting burned. No big revelation. Most sunscreens with a SPF of 30 and above will do you fine as long as you re-apply as you go. Like I said earlier, we are all unique so we need to be our own best judge as to what works and what does not.
This sunscreen seems good. I just got annoyed by the garbage info on the box. After all, what a product says and claims, in a market with a million choices, is all that distinguishes one product from another. This product is trying to scare you. Do not be afraid of the sun. As a matter of fact, go outside, get away from your computer and get some.

It seems from the number of people who could care less for my review that no one cares what is printed on the side of a box. It seems no one cares what claims a product makes. I am also assuming everyone is diligently applying this lotion, like the box says, every day of the year.

I'm European, from the Portuguese persuasion. My color a bit darker than the color peach from crayola crayons (if that helps any). I usually never get red sunburns, but it does happen. I usually get tanned on my arms during summer because I wear a lot of t-shirts. I almost never wear sunscreen either because I hate the feeling and I hate spreading it.
I went to Hurricane Harbor a few weeks ago and tried this stuff for the first time. I spent a total of 8 hours there and only applied this stuff on once when I arrived.
The cream comes out the color of skin. After I finished applying it on my face, it looked like I did a bad job applying makeup. I couldn't spread it until it disappeared. Although it did disappear sometime in later. I didn't dunk my head much in the water that day, but I'm not saying that my head didn't get wet often.
At the end of the day, I had slight redness on my cheeks, and it didn't hurt. Overall, I'm happy with the protection with just one application, I just wish it didn't make me look like a drag queen afterward.
