but it just doesn't make your hair shiny and flat, i don't know if I'm using it wrong but I just don't like it that much. It is more helpful than the usual 1" chi if you have thicker hair. Review: Temp falls too fast

I use this when I have time because it can't hold a temperature, once placed on your hair it shoots down the temp fast so I always have to wait for it to heat back up. Review: Unsatisfied

I bought this item from a licensed dealer and was very disappointed and after a month of trying to like it plan to return it this week. It is mediocre at best. I liked the digital aspect of it but it snags hair as it goes through and loses around 100 degrees of heat if you use it straight for 30 seconds so you have to set it down and let it heat back up through out the straightening process. I wanted the wider CHI since I have long hair and have used wide flat irons in the past with better results but this one just leaves a lot to be desired and is NOT worth the price. It doesn't even straighten/smooth very well. I just ordered the Paul Mitchell Express Ion 1.0 iron. Even though it is half as wide, reviews across the internet look very good and NO snagging hair or losing heat throughout the process, so I hope it works better for me.
