I think this item is great for all types of hair. My sister let me use hers and I was instantly sold. She uses the Chi for her large frizzy naturaly wavy hair and she had straight shiny silky hair in no time(it took her about an hour to straighten her hair with her old straightner). I have very fine hair but I still fell like it looks frizzy b/c of my split ends sticking out or up, the Chi takes care of that. And it only takes me 3 minutes to get ready. I shower at night and chi in the morning and my hair looks great! Review: AAA+ Service

I have naturally curly hair and very unruly. I have heard of a Chi Iron for a while, but was skeptical. I have tried many many products over the years to straighten my hair and nothing has really ever worked. The CHI is SIMPLY amazing! Now, If your ends are NOT healthy, it will still look frizzy. You have to trim your dry/split ends. My hair has a natural frizz to it and it really really tames it down. I have received more compliments on my hair in the past month than in my entire life. I LOVE my CHI :) I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone wanting straight hair. REMEMBER to get styling products to keep your hair from drying out. Products from a salon will work best or Chi does have a full line of styling products. A leave in conditioner is essential. The price on Amazon is WAY below anything that I have found anywhere, my only regret is that I did not go witht he larger CHI, I eventually will invest on one. Review: AMAZING
