I don't own this exact CHI straightener. I ordered it for my friend. She refunded me the money. I asked her how she likes it. And she says that she loves how quick it works, but she loves that it's quick, easy, and leaves yoru hair STRAIGHT STRAIGHT! =) Review: Absolute Garbage

After a week of use, the plug separated from the unit. Then a piece of hot plastic immediately fell from within the unit. This after normal, almost babying treatment. You folks can have your "wonder" tool. I'm moving on from CHI and getting something that wasn't built by a bunch of chimps. Review: Absolutely Amazing

This is the flat iron my hair stylist uses and my hair would always come out amazing so i decided to buy one for myself and it work awesome on my hair. i have wavy hair and it got it so straight and left my hair feeling so smooth and silky. Its the best flat iron ive ever used Review: Absolutely love it!

This product leaves my hair soft, silky and shiny. It glides smoothly without tugging on my hair. I realized you actually CAN style and curl your hair with this awesome product. But you've just got to experiment by turning the straightener round and round as you straighten; this may be a challenge and often may lead to failure in acquiring the desired style, of course since it isn't a curling iron. But wish you luck with that.
I must also warn you against the disappointment that may come after you try to use this on half wet or damp hair; it may cause frizz and won't straighten well enough, and that's why it lost a one point. I also noticed that using a comb or brush along with straightening causes static sometimes, usually on damp/almost dry hair. That's all for this review. Great product, highly recommended.

Review: Absolutely worth the money!!

I live in Louisiana and have very curly frizzy hair. The chi straightens it and leaves it silky instead of dried out. It also stays straight in the humidity. I would recommend it to anyone who is not sure about paying this much for a straightener.
