I love my Chi. It works great. It heats up fast (be careful it gets really hot) and flattens my hair fast. I have very curly hair and it can be hard to tame, but the Chi never has a problem. Plus this is the best price I have seen for a Chi anywhere. Review: chi heavy feel

I bought for my niece she said it didnt make her hair feel silky it felt hard and didnt straighten her hair that much. It also cuts off alot. We ended getting a solia straigtner that worked well.
