I have had this 1'' turbo chi for 2 and a half years now. I have used it non-stop ever since I bought it, and it still works as well as it did when I first bought it!!
My hair is curly and thick, and I tried sooo many straightening irons before a friend recommended this chi. I then bought it and did not regret it at all! Its 100% worth its price and it works extremely well. Hair needs to be dry before using it, so that your hair wont burn, but after blow drying your hair, it does an amazingly perfect job.
I have a lot of hair, and it's not soft, so I divide my hair across the midline all the way down the back of my head till my neck, and then work on each half separately. Hair is silky and shiny after I'm done, and I always get compliments on how straight it is.
