I am very disappointed with this item. The magnified lighted side must be laying on the desk not in the upright position. The magnified side is lit, unlike other lighted mirrors, however it is heavier than the regular side so you can only set it on a desk as shown in the picture. Therefore, you need to hold it with one hand, so it is not practical if you are looking for a mirror to set down and be able to use two hands. And the maginified side has distortion and is hard to see in, you have to have it very close to your eye to see a clear image. I never used it and will never. A complete waste of money.
