Review: Ask seller "Pretty Like Me" if item is in stock before purchasing

My review is not of the material in the book, as, I ordered this item from seller "Pretty Like Me," who listed the item in stock for the MSRP, and waited two weeks before finally finding out they didn't have the item in stock at all. Apparently their warehouse reported the item in stock, but the item is actually out of print (as of October 2007), and they DID NOT have the item in stock as advertised. I lost no money from the deal, as they could never complete their ship confirmation, and Amazon never charged my card. I am just disappointed that it took so long to discover all this. I contacted the seller twice and Amazon once over a period of two weeks before FINALLY finding out what was going on.
I even emailed seller advising them to remove the "IN STOCK" status (seller: Pretty Like Me) due to my situation with them, and they still have this item listed as "in stock." Very disappointing, and the lack of follow up definitely DOES NOT sit well with me. Buyer beware.

It is amazing how often it is said that The Fourth Book of Occult Philosophy, first published in English in 1655, is spurious. This is to a large extent due to a common misperception that the entire work was written by Henry Cornelius Agrippa. It is actually a collection of texts on magic and geomany that includes Agrippa's book of Magical Ceremonies. The other treatises, however, are equally remarkable. Although The Fourth Book of Occult Philosophy was reprinted in a facsimile edition by asking in 1978, and other publishers have reprinted its individual components, this is the first edition to contail all six books, annoted by an expert in magical practice, set in modern type, and reorganized for easier use.
