Product reviews of Frederic Fekkai Luscious Curls Cream Review: This one works for me... Beauty product: 5 StarsFirst, I would like to say that I do know from my own experience that there is no one size fits all hair product. I tried Luscious Curls and fell in love with it. For my curly hair, it holds well, isn't stiff or crunchy feeling, and it smells great. I do use a little leave-in conditioner before I apply this product, and then I air dry. My curls are well-defined and shiny. I would recommend this product highly!!
Review: pretty good stuff Beauty product: 4 StarsThis is an excellent way to keep your naturally curly hair from frizzing- but I found I had to combine it with an anit-frizz sirum (thick clear oil) to keep my hair soft. The price is high but it goes a long way. I have purchased it twice now and will keep buying it for the purpose of an anit-frizz curl enhancer.
Review: Not working for me Beauty product: 1 StarsI bought this product a couple days ago and have yet to see it work as promised. The first day I washed my hair, towel-dried then applied the lotion to my hair (a little past my shoulders). I twisted the strands and let it air-dry. Nothing....the next time I tried the same but I twirled the hair around my finger instead of just twisting it. Nothing again. I was skeptic since after you release hair from a twirl or twist, it relaxes a bit. I've read the directions over and over....how do you get this stuff to work. I have natural waves and some curl in my hair...Please reply with advice.
Review: The Best - worth the money Beauty product: 5 StarsSince I started using this product I have received so many compliments on my hair! And several people remarked on how nice my hair smelled too. I love the smell of this product (citrus-like). I have very frizzy curly hair. I use this product along with a light gel. I have never had a problem with crunchy-ness. If anything, this is one of the few products that doesn't leave my hair crunchy. I do use a blow-dryer with a diffuser, however. Perhaps reviewers with this problem let their hair air dry? I love this product. After my favorite glaze was discontinued, I have been on a year-long quest for a replacement - I found it. I use it along with a curl defining gel by Graham Webb. This creme really smooths the ends and my curls really seem more defined and prettier now.
Review: Not worth it Beauty product: 2 StarsI have been using Frederic Fekkai's glossing cream for a few years now and love it so I thought I would try the luscious curls. It was very thick, which may be a good thing since there is so little of it, but doesn't spread through hair very well. It left my hair a little crunchy, and the crunchiness didn't go away for a few hours. When it did dry, i felt that my curls just kind of hung there, without much body or shine. I have used Loreal's Professional line prior to this and I will definitely go back to it. It's cheaper, better quality, and twice the size of luscious curls.
