Review: Part of my hair regime

When I want to make my hair as wavy/curly as possible, I mix this with the glossing cream and apply to damp hair then dry with a diffuser. i finish with the curl spray. My hair gets big pretty curls and waves and isnt all dry and sticky. ;)

I got a free sample of this product at a Nordstroms trend show and decided to use it the other day. My hair is pretty course and frizzy and long, but it is also more kinky curls instead of big, round, ringlets. Well, I let my hair air dry then applied a serum to take care of the frizz. Then I put some in my hair (you don't need much) and scrunched and twisted my hair. It worked wonderfully! My hair was bouncy and had lots of volume and was very shiny and curly, the best i have ever seen it! I got a lot of compliments on it too. The only thing is that if you use too much your hair gets too shiny and looks oily, also it doesnt have much hold at all, so a good hair spray really does the trick with this. Besides that, it is a wonderful curl enhancer!

Anyone who gave this lotion a low rating simply did so because they don't realize achieving GREAT curly hair is a process. There is no ONE product that can do all the work.

I have thick, frizzy, DAMAGED, curly hair. I use this lotion after using my favorite shine serum, then after letting air dry for a few minutes finish with gel or mousse for hold.

The curl enhancing lotion really REALLY improves the look of my curls - from uneven ringlets and loose waves, to an almost universal loose big curl - it's beautiful!

The only downside is the TINY bottle for such a high price. It should be at least 8oz.

Another disappointed customer.

I have very thick, coarse, wavy hair and trying to manage it is a nightmare! Before using Fekkai's Luscious Curls lotion, I was using Aveda's Be Curly Lotion and Matrix's Curl.Life contouring creme. Both of the latter products work very well with my hair. I don't like to blow dry my hair (too time-consuming), so I just air dry it. Without blow drying, whether I'm using Aveda or Matrix, the results are great! My hair is smooth, shiny, and less frizzy.

I had never used Fekkai's products before, but decided to give this one a try. Everything Luscious Curl Enhancing Lotion claimed to do, didn't do for my hair. In fact, it actually made my hair worst! It became stiffer, drier looking, frizzier. In addition, my wavy hair, (usually bouncy and alive), became flat and dull. Also, I didn't like the scent of this particular curling lotion. It was very strong smelling and made me nauseous.

Because of my very poor experience with Fekkai's Luscious Curls lotion, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I think I'll stick to the Aveda and Matrix curling lotions, since they are much more compatible with my hair.
