This brush works well but it isn't significantly better than a comb. I think it is convenient to have the brush to smooth the top of the hair after teasing but that's about it. Review: Good teasing brush

This brush took a couple uses before the bristles teased properly, but overall I am satisfied with this product. It is not a professional brush, but it does the job. Review: Terrific Teaser!!!

Like the other reviewer, I was skeptical about this purchase. But, I am so glad that I took that leap of faith! While I do not make a habit of teasing my hair to within an inch of its life, I do like to have body at the roots/base of my head and this brush has performed miracles for me! I no longer have to tease it with a hair pick repeatedly and risk breakage . . . this brush is easy to use, has great bristles for grip, and adds an amazing amount of volume with little effort. And the pointed end is perfect for making perfect parts! Love the brush! Review: Well worth the price!!!!

I was skeptical that this teasing brush could live up to its description. I have a zillion brushes, how could this one be any different? I'm so glad I took a chance!! The Marilyn T provides a tight, compact backcomb and and it feels much more gentle on the hair than the other combs and brushes I've tried. Well, then again maybe it's just the fact that I don't have to tease so furiously, this godsend of a brush does all the work with amazing results!!!
