Review: nice fragrance

Bought this today for my oldest daughter's b-day in March she will be 21 yrs old. She loves Clinique Happy & rarely buys it for herself since its pretty spendy, I found this at Marshalls here in Oregon, as part of a gift set with a 1.0 oz spray along with a body lotion for $22.99, it's not quite so powdery/fruity as the original Happy. I like it better we will see if she agrees, Clinique produces Happy Heart, original Happy, & this version Happy to Be. It's not my favorite perfume, but my daughter really likes Clinique perfume,if you like a lighter, younger scent, I think you will like it. Update 02/12/07 well she didn't wait for her b-day but the good news she loves it even better than the original Happy, she says it has a more perfume smell & is a more mature scent than Happy, whatever that means, hope that helps anyone choosing this perfume. I have liked "Happy" since Clinique first introduced it. It has just the right amount of everything to make it a beautiful light citrus scent. If your into the really heavy scented perfumes this one is not for you. I'm 19 and I would recommend this to teens or anybody who wants a light "pick me up" scent! I LOVE IT!! Review: HAPPY

The other person who reviewed "Happy" by Clinique is incorrect. There is no musk undertone in this perfume. I know because my body chemistry brings out the musky undertones in any fragrance whatsoever, regardless of if it maybe perfume, body spray, lotions, whatever. Instead this fragrance is light and flowery with citrus undertones. Additionally, the scent lasts all evening. I can put on a light spray at the beginning of the evening, go to a smoky club with a punk rock band, drink, get in a fight, have a roll in the hay and still smell like Happy in the morning! A citrus light floral mix, very uplifting (hence, the name...) one spray lasts most of the day! Any more than one spray and the whole neighborhood will know your perfume!
I have tried Happy Heart and Happy to be, and the Classic Happy, is still #1!
I wear it everyday and the 1.7 oz lasts me about a year!
However, the lotion actually smells better in Happy Heart (IMHO!).
