A stylist friend of mine recommended this product. She loves it, and I have another friend who loves it as well so I thought I'd give it a try. I have naturally wavy hair that has never been colored. I let it air dry most days and rarely use styling products or blow dry so it's not damaged. I live in a very dry area so my hair tends to be on a dry side and I was looking for something to moisturize my hair.
I'm not impressed with this at all. I've been using it for a week now, trying it with the other It's A 10 products and my normal haircare products. I've tried it with other rinse-out conditioners as well as by itself. It's okay, but nothing special. It does condition, but it actually decreases the amount of shine in my hair and I don't like the strong floral smell. I've also tried it on my children's hair and it makes their hair less shiny as well. It doesn't detangle very well. Johnson & Johnson No More Tangles does a better job detangling and leaves their hair shiny, so I'm staying with that.
I was expecting incredible softness from this product based on my friend's experiences and what I've read on here, and it didn't deliver. Not a good product and I won't be buying it again.
