Product reviews of Idea Village Strap Perfect, Assorted Colors, 9 ct. Review: A little fragile, but overall, very effective. Beauty product: 4 Stars
I bought this after seeing it in the check out line at Walmart and my boss told me how wonderful it was. Let's face it- its plastic. Will it break? Possibly. One of mine did when I tried putting it on by myself (I couldn't see what I was doing). Have someone else put it on for you, its a little bit of a hassle, but that's why I gave it four stars. Overall, it's worth it. For ten bucks, you get what you pay for. I wear it multiple times a week and haven't had it break while it was on, but I could see it possibly being a problem for those with a wider back. Anyhow, I've recommended it to friends and they love it as well!
Review: AMAZING!!! Beauty product: 5 Stars
I'll admit, I was skeptical, but wanted to try, so I ordered a set off TV. Couldn't wait for them to come, when they did, I tried one out instantly. At first when I looked at it, it appeared larger than I thought it would and wondered if its size and material would make it uncomfortable to wear or have on all day. Boy was I was wrong! First day I wore one, I was raving about how "I didn't have to fix my straps all day long." That alone makes it worth it to me, I am forever moving my straps from my upper arm back to my shoulders and it drives me nuts as I type pretty much all day at my job and the constant readjusting of straps is annoying. They also do give you that extra "lift" and makes your bust appear larger, as promised in the commercials. This is the first item I have ever purchased from TV that not only did what it promised it would, but also exceeded my expectations. I wear one practically everyday!
I have not used the double-sided tape that came with my sets, but do plan to use it when the opportunity arises. I have used another brand's double-sided clothing tape in the past and loved it. It kept my clothing right where I wanted it. Between my Strap Perfect and my double-sided tape, there is no reason why my bra should ever be visible again.
Review: Awesome Birthday Present Beauty product: 5 Stars
Initially, I was completely skeptical about this type of product. Actually, I like to stay away from anything that has the label, "As Seen On TV." Than I tried on and bought a bra from Target that had a clip sewn on the straps which produced the same idea of taking a typical bra and making it into a racerback. I loved that bra and still do because it fit and actually gave me cleavage. I was a 32B, a tomboy, and a runner. Wearing the right clothes in high school I would often get mistaken as a boy. So having even the slightest bit of cleavage is a huge deal to me. After having that bra, I would tell whoever would listen when the commercial came on that the Strap Perfect really wasn't a bad idea IF it was as comfortable as mine. Especially since they look kinda large. Well, my mom bought me a clear set of 6 with the fashion tape for my birthday last June. THE ARE WONDERFUL! Even though they look big, they're actually extremely comfortable. They are a little awkward to put on at first, but not any more awkward than putting a bra on for the very first time. It's not a motion anyone is used to and has to have a little bit of arm flexibility for, so of course it would be awkward at first. It's just something you get used to after a while. Before my chest started growing from my now first pregnancy (I'm 18 weeks ^^), I wore it everyday. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it would start to bend the straps of where it sat after a few months. It's not like it was a big deal because we wear into our shoes, clothes, hats, and bags, so of course this little thing would wear into the bra straps. It never made my bra straps weaker, but maybe that's because none of my bras are more than 2 years old. No bra is made to last beyond that because they stretch and tear dramatically in that time period.
Oh, and I skimmed through a couple of reviews and noticed that some mentioned a problem with having to loosen the straps a lot. I never had that problem, and my bra never rode up my back or became loose because of it. I have a set of 6, but really only needed one... so I gave some away. One friend had a problem of the hook area becoming a little loose and started riding up on her back, but it turned out she was wearing the wrong size bra altogether. She was wearing a 36B but, after getting properly measured, it turned out she was really a 34C. So, before putting the blame on a perfectly good product, how about trying to figure out why it might be doing that? Honestly, I think some women need to get measured and learn how a bra should really fit. With or without this product bras should never ride high in the back, have back cleavage if you're an average sized woman (dress sizes 6-12), have room in the cup, bulging out of the cup, or let your chest hang near your elbows. If you have any of these problems, you are wearing the WRONG BRA!
Review: BRA STRAPS ARE TACKY. PERIOD. Beauty product: 5 Stars
I cannot stand bra straps showing! Unless of course it's leopard print *winking*. Anywho, I was on the search to find something that could transform the bras that that I already own, instead of searching all over the place spending unnecessary money for a bra that will only look good on one type of racerback tank! Because we all know that one bra you can wear with one racerback, won't necessarily be hidden on a different racerback tank.
Then I remembered As Seen on TV had Strap Perfect ($9.99).

Review: Can't even get it to work! Beauty product: 1 Stars
The instructions for this made no sense. I loosened one strap but it wouldn't reach the other strap no matter how much I tried. I tried it the front way and there was no room for my actual chest to fit into the bra! This thing doesn't work at all. I bought it because it says it gives you lift and bra straps never ever stay up! Don't waste your money. I am returning mine.
