Review: A great product except with hard water

I liked this shampoo bar from the fact that it's made without the tons of chemicals that are normally found in store shampoos. My hair's a little past the waist and this bar lathered very well. However, I also have hard water and from previous experience natural stuff and that don't get along very well. I used this for about two weeks and each time upon rinsing my hair felt coated and I always had a lot of buildup on my scalp. This problem remained even when using a vinegar rinse to settle the pH factor. I didn't like the way my head felt each time - almost like I didn't shower. It's too bad because aside from coating and buildup, I loved the way my hair looked and felt. It was soft and was a little wavy. In fact, it was the best my hair looked in a long time! I also used the Herbal Formula. The coating was a little lighter with that one but was still a problem. Perhaps it'll work fine with soft water, but I haven't been able to try that. It's a good price and worth the experiment.
