My husband bought this mirror for me for Christmas. Two months later and I'm still struggling every morning trying to get the darn thing to light up. This morning, I wasted 20 minutes trying ... without any luck. I finally dismantled it and dragged out my old unlighted mirror. This one is going to a garage sale "with a warning." SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! I was looking for a light up make up mirror but wanted a really bright one
which wasn't "junky". I am VERY PLEASED with the mirror! It's extremely bright and the 5X allows me to apply makeup without my glasses
which is very convenient. Heavy, metal housing, doesn't tip, I close
after use but leave in position. An wonderful mirror for $30! Would
reconmend highly!

I Purchased 3 makeup mirrors before finding the one I liked. The lighting was always inadequate. But the Jerdon lighting was exactly what I was looking for and the magnification is perfect.I highly recommend Jerdon.
