I have had this type of mirror for years. I accidently broke the mirror. I found this one and was able to screw it on my current mounting. It was just what I needed to replace the one I broke. I was so happy with it, I am thinking of ordering another, just to have a backup. Goldtone extension mirrors are hard to find. Review: This Jerdon Mirror is awesome
