I bought this mirror because it folds up for travel, but also because I have broken two stand type mirrors and wanted something with a lower center of gravity, that wouldn't be so easy to knock over. It is an attractive mirror that I don't mind leaving out. This was a good value for the price. It is a little on the small side, so if you need a larger mirror, this one is not for you.
