LOVE this wax warmer and the wax. I have used GiGi products for over 10 years and have gone through 3 regular size wax warmers because they always get messy from wax drippings due to the shape of the warmer (the round rings don't account for the oblong shape). I also wanted a smaller warmer that I could easily tuck away when not in use.

I was specifically looking for a smaller wax warmer to fit into a shoe size plastic bin to store under my sink and this is perfect! I thought about getting the mini GiGi pot, but it does not come with a lid and does not have an adjustable heat setting. This product cost more, but it was definitely worth it!!! I've been waxing for almost 15 years and I LOVE THESE PRODUCTS!!! Wish I tried this brand a long time ago.

The wax pot is very portable (easily fits in a shoe-size box with a roll of muslin, scissors and a bag of applicators). The top fits nicely for storage, but doesn't attach snugly. I like the top because it keeps dust out since I just leave my pot of wax in at all times. With my GiGi pot, I always needed to heat it with the top on to get it to heat faster, but using this one I had no problem. I was able to heat it up in about 15 minutes. I really like that this wax pot has an on/off feature and a temperature gauge. The instructions say to heat up the wax pot on the #10 setting. Since I was just doing my eyebrows I wasn't concerned with the middle section still be a little too firm to use, I just work around the edges where the wax is warm. I did notice the first time I used it that it had a burning smell, but the wax was fine and it hasn't happened since.

I also tried the Satin Smooth Deluxe Cream Wax 14 fl.oz. and it is AMAZING! I have always used GiGi All Purpose Honee and had issues with my skin being reddened for a long time and zit-like bumps the day after I waxed. I was skeptical about the Satin Smooth Deluxe Cream Wax because it isn't as hard as the GiGi waxes, but it is wonderful! It melts at a lower temp which means my skin isn't red afterward and it leaves my skin feeling smooth! I've never had a wax leave my skin smooth, the GiGi always left some stickiness. I don't know how this is possible, but I also noticed that it doesn't hurt at all with the wax! I am seriously amazed and loving this wax. I do feel like this wax spreads out more than harder waxes when you put pressure on the strips, so be careful how close you apply it to areas you don't want to wax!

Overall I think both of these products are well beyond my expectations.
