Product reviews of Kashuk ToolsŪ Bristle Hair Brush Review: Perfect Brush for Dull, Frizzy Hair Beauty product: 5 Stars
I ordered this a couple of weeks ago, and fell in love with it since I ripped it out of the packaging!!! After just a week or two of using it, my hair has noticeably looked really shiny and smooth. I don't color my hair or anything, but it's always looked frizzy and dull. But something in this brush just makes it so shiny and soft. The ends of my hair always used to be super-dry and frizzy, but they've really become smoother and less frizzy since I started using this brush. I have wavyish hair, and most brushes that I use make my hair just get bigger and puffier, but this one maintains the shape of my hair while improving its quality.I could almost be an Herbal Essences commercial girl with this brush. Almost.
Yes, I noticed the smell, but it's not strong enough to bother me. I'm not sure, but I think that smell is like the "new sneakers smell" and the "new car smell"--a couple of uses, and it goes away!
I also had my doubts that a hair brush--like a brush with hair bristles instead of plastic, like I've been using--would be able to actually brush through all of my hair, but this one completely does! The nylon bristles are what keep the brush stiff and sturdy, and if I brush my hair upside down, it can easily sweep through all of it.
In summary: I've thrown out all my other hair brushes.
Thank you, Sonia!!!
Review: Very nice Beauty product: 5 Stars
I bought this brush because of a comparison to the $150 Mason Pearson hairbrush, (which I hear is excellent)in a magazine I recieve. I decided I had to try it. I still haven't tried a Mason Pearson brush, but I absolutely love this brush. The nylon bristles go all the way through my hair and massage my scalp, it feels wonderful and tingly. The boar bristles go nicely through and make my hair shiny and soft. I bought my daughter one too. I reccommend it, worth every penny and probably more.
Review: awful smell Beauty product: 1 Stars
The Sonia Kashuk Tools Hairbrush I purchased is going back. The red cushion the bristles sit on smells like burnt rubber. This isn't a faint smell;it is quite strong. Too bad since, otherwise, it sounds like a decent brush.
