Description of Kelo-cote for scars

Kelo-cote Advanced Forumula Scar Gel dries rapidly to form an invisible protective silicone sheet over the affected area. This protective barrier if flexible, odorless, waterproof, and breathable.

Kelo-cote forms a bond with the stratum corneum to protect the underlying tissue against chemical, physical and microbial invasion of the scar. Kelo-cote hydrates the scarred area and creates an environment which allows the scar to mature through normal collagen synthesis cycles and improve the physiological and cosmetic appearance of the scar.

Size of scar suitable for treatment with one 15g tube: 4.756.75 inch / 1217 cm (Length of scar, based on a linear scar with a coverage width of 0.5 inch / 1.25 cm)

Size of scar suitable for treatment with one 60g tube: 19.527.5 inch / 5070 cm (Length of scar, based on a linear scar with a coverage width of 0.5 inch / 1.25 cm) or 4.75 x 6 inch / 12 x 15 cm (Area of scar, e.g. widespread burn scar)
