Review: Best I have used; and I have tried alot

Over the past 15 years of blade shaving I have tried countless after shave balms. Based on that experience, this product is the best. It induces NO stinging whatsoever when applied. I can guarantee you this: ANY after shave balm that causes even a little sting will cause your face's sensitive areas to appear red and irritated. The one surprising aspect of this product is that it does not contain shea butter. For quite awhile, I swore that shea butter was a necessity in a good shave balm; not so. I used to use either the L'Occitane and Pre de Provence balms, each of which has shea butter. This particular Kiehl's balm is superior. One minor suggestion: after you squeeze a small amount into your hand, had a couple drops' worth of water to it before your rub your hands together and apply it to your face...it spreads easier, as the base product is just a slight bit too viscous.
