I've been using old ceramic cups for my shaving soap, and they keep falling off of the sink and shattering. This seemed like a good solution. Rather than go thru the hastle of returning it, it was easier to refinish it, so that's what I did!

Beautiful little piece, perfectly shaped for holding. The lid is great, as it keeps it clean and free from soap scum. Just hold the lid on and rinse when finished. Feels solid and well-made. Review: Works great

I have used this product for about 3 months(bought a second one for my son). The unit still looks new and is very functual. Would recommend to any out there that have senitve skin and need to use a special soap. A good badger brush, good soap and the bowl and shaving becomes a pleasure.
