Does a good job of letting you use those small pieces of left over soap. It lathers up well when used as a bath sponge and scrubs like a loofah but without the stiffness of a loofah. My one complaint is that when you put three or four soap pieces in it, some will fall out if your not careful how you hold it because it is open on the bottom.
