I like trying the smaller size products in a kit, because I can see how the brand as a whole is. While I don't love the smell of roses, I did need brightening so I decided to give it a try(I'm 29 with combo skin and freckles I'm trying to lighten). I bought this kit in the beginning of December and was very upset to see it expired in January. I understand that natural products aren't going to have the lasting power, due to the fact they don't have the preservatives of other non-green products. But really, 1 month? I thought it was absurd, especially for the money spent. To be honest, this probably effected my view of the products, since that was always a nagging thought in the back of my head.

I really liked the rose mask and the cleanser. The other 3, which I was most looking forward to, disappointed me. They felt very heavy on my skin and also pilled off. I used them in the evening, with at least 20 minutes in between applications to give the product a chance to sink in. Sadly, that didn't really make a difference. I also like it when an eye cream has a cooling effect, this had nothing. I didn't like the smell of the cream, it was very old lady-ish to me.

I would choose the Ole Henriksen products in a heartbeat over korres. I love the light, fresh feeling of all things by Ole, Korres just left me feeling weighed down and like I'd thrown $$ down the drain.
